I've seen an hexbear user take the maximalist "stalin and soviet union did nothing wrong" stance and get lectured by an actual soviet historian but that was on another server. Smart people don't go looking for fights online.
You don't have to be a liberal to suggest to a comrade that "Stalin did some things wrong"
inb4 "stopped at Berlin" etcc
That wasn't the criticism. It was closer to a left-comm criticizing the Bolshevik's for betraying the revolution, ie Kronstadt etc.
