Bloody hell. By this reckoning, Citeh will be playing Kingstonian in the Isthmian Premier soon!

Erik ten Hag post match

'The way we played at Ajax, you won't ever see that here. The player material decides how we lay. That's why I can not let this team play the way I did at Ajax. I have to, I can't play the same way here. It's also not in the DNA of Manchester United. Ajax football is very specific, here we have to play more direct. We have the type of players for that."

What. The. Actual. Fuck.

@footy #football #soccer still buzzing from the #BHAFC 2-0 victory over Ajax last night. First clean sheet in 18 matches! Ajax fans were surprisingly quiet, was expecting pyro and lots@of noise. Were about as rowdy as Reading in the end.

All international breaks are crap. But this one, just as the season is starting to pick up a little steam, is always particularly irritating.

Jadon - If you're fed up and want to engineer a move away from United, you talk to your agent and start leaking stories in March, not September.

Enjoy your time in the reserves. Jesus wept.

Not sure about a 34 year old left back who hasn't played for two years. What about the unwanted Hojbjerg who is available now for a DM role?

Slightly worried about Rasmus Hojlund centre parting.

How the fuck are Chelsea spending all this money without breaching FFP?

I know they've offloaded some players but even so...

I can't believe Wolves let Collins go, and unless they have a golden boy coming through the academy, I don't understand why a better side than Brentford didn't sign him. Great defender with bags of potential.

Harry Maguire is staying put. No change there then. @footy

I used to shrug when lesser teams (like Liverpool) claimed 'We won't get a penalty at Old Trafford until hell freezes over'.

After last night's decision to deny Wolves a last minutes penalty for Onana's assault on their centre-forward, I might have to change my mind.

@footy the EFL have announced a new procedure for the coming season for stoppage time that will more accurately reflect lost time.

So... we should expect a lot of +9 and +11 minutes for the first few months before it is quietly dropped? Or do they mean it this time?
