You know the person we’re doing a go fund me for and we did an ama for here

Yes him

He made an account with his name ,@mahmoud

But due to him not being fluent in English and only writing my friend in reference to me (on who invited you and what are your feelings about national liberation, etc)

He can’t login to his account even though it technically exists

Is anti-Zionism a sin? We asked the rabbi whose viral Yom Kippur sermon begged the question

A Q&A with Rabbi Ammiel Hirsch of Stephen Wise Free Synagogue

Rabbi Ammiel Hirsch has made advancing the Zionist cause a focal point of his work for more than 30 years at the forefront of Reform Judaism. A former IDF tank commander, Hirsch helped lead the push for the Reform movement’s official support of Israel in 1997. At Stephen Wise Free Synagogue, where he has served as senior rabbi since 2004, support for Israel is in the mission statement.

But lately, Rabbi Hirsch has been wondering where it all went wrong with young American Jews. Since the Oct. 7 attack, he has used his pulpit to reflect on the trend of Jewish anti-Zionism, and the “uncomfortable reality” that many anti-Zionists are products of Reform institutions. He returned to that territory with a Yom Kippur sermon that charged anti-Zionist Jews with “turning your backs on our people.”

So for people who don’t know the story I did an AMA for my friend 2 weeks ago I think ,two ones in fact

My friend lived for 7 months during the war but did manage to go to Egypt ,his house was destroyed (bombed) ,some of his uncles and relatives such as his cousins were martyred as well as friends ,they survived horrifying experiences ,like seeing kids with their heads cut off ,seeing people being stripped naked in the streets and getting beat up ,cars and vans and roads being bombed ,helicopters bombing balconies ,

For the longest time he’s refused to do a go fund me ,but it seemed that he accepted it due to how much he needs help now

As for the AMA’s I did for him

https://hexbear.net/post/3559080 This is Number 1

https://hexbear.net/post/3672723 This is number 2

My Korean Friend from the States is helping him with the go fund me

Here is the one we made him

Also I have a question to the moderators ,my friend Mahmoud (the gazan) wants to make an account here but isn’t an anarchist/ communist (yet lol) and might have some reactionary views on certain social issues ,I promised him to ask because he wanted a place where he can talk freely about Palestine and the Resistance and this is pretty much the only place I know where he wing find people who will break his heart in an issue like this

What do you say mods ?

Anyhow more importantly

My favourite is "Reino Hundido". UK in Spanish is "Reino Unido", the word "Hundido" meaning "sunken". Some more translations in the comments

I've just seen a tweet about an IOF soldier harassing a person (family?) and telling them that this is his land, and before I could see more it just removed it right in front of me, and this isn't the first time an anti-Israel tweet has been removed from my home page right in front of me.

I know it also removes tweets I may not be interested in (no idea how it gauges that to be honest), but considering I check on anti-Israel content all the time, this absolutely would not fall under that; additionally people I'm actually FOLLOWING have their tweets disappear from my home page; why are people I'm FOLLOWING having their content be hidden from me?!

"Nothing Will Ever Be The Same Again" by Noura Erakat | Jadaliyya

Jadaliyya Co-Editor, human rights attorney, and professor Noura Erakat reads her article, “Nothing Will Ever Be the Same Again,” published in The Nation, featuring images and video of the details recounted. "This is meant to be resource for classrooms to study both the devastating impact of genocide and the remarkable efforts by millions of ordinary people around the world to stop it."

Weekly teach-ins and conversations on a host of issues that introduce our common university communities, educators, researchers, and students to the history and present of Gaza, in context.

More at PalestineInContext.org

"We are together experiencing a catastrophic unfolding of history as Gaza endures a massive invasion of genocidal proportions. This accompanies an incessant bombardment of a population increasingly bereft of the necessities of living in response to the Hamas attack in Israel on October 7.

The context within which this takes place includes a well-coordinated campaign of misinformation and the unearthing of a multitude of essentialist and reductionist discursive tropes that dehumanize Palestinians as the culprits, despite a context of structural subjugation and Apartheid, now a matter of consensus in the human rights movement."
