I remember when the Howard Dean scream was echoed around corpo media enough to sink a campaign.

[–] InevitableSwing@hexbear.net 34 points 2 months ago (1 children)

At every rally I wonder how many Howard Dean screams Trump would have to do for him to drop in the polls. A dozen each time?

[–] UlyssesT@hexbear.net 27 points 2 months ago (1 children)

I think the Dean screams would only excite his cult more. They'd be high energy, at least.

[–] InevitableSwing@hexbear.net 16 points 2 months ago

*HIGH* ENERGY TRUMP SCREAMS OWN LIBS.

[–] Barx@hexbear.net 16 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Tells you how the party operated back then more than anything. It's not like the electorate really cared, they were just told they cared and that it should kill his campaign and they were like, "yes thank you DNC that is true".

[–] peeonyou@hexbear.net 7 points 2 months ago

so accurate

[–] BurgerPunk@hexbear.net 12 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago)

I was there Gandalf

Although the reality of the Howard Dean scream, is that the media all fucking hated him. They ran with the story, because they couldn't stand him. If Kerry had done that in 04 it wouldn't have ended his campaign

[–] JoeByeThen@hexbear.net 48 points 2 months ago (2 children)

lmao, what layer of hell is this?

[–] InevitableSwing@hexbear.net 32 points 2 months ago

We're just a bit under the skin. It's like an onion.

@EelBolshevikism@hexbear.net what I say. We already there i-cant

[–] Rojo27@hexbear.net 46 points 2 months ago (3 children)

I'm guessing Pocahontas is a reference to warren-medusa because otherwise he's way further gone than everyone thinks he is. Also Warren hasn't been all that relelavant in a while, so I'm not sure most of the people he was talking to there would have gotten the reference anyway.

[–] SorosFootSoldier@hexbear.net 29 points 2 months ago (1 children)

The stairwell going up to Trump's mindpalace is twisted and broken, day you tread on it mortal?

[–] UlyssesT@hexbear.net 21 points 2 months ago (1 children)

You need to use magic to reach its higher levels, sort of like a Telvanni mushroom tower.

Folks, the looney left don't want you to know this they...folks, they hate it but I've glimpsed the Wheel from its side! Nobody's CHIM'd like I have. Kooky Kamalmalexia and socialist Sotha Sanders can't stand it but we're gonna build a big beautiful ghostfence, and House Dagoth is gonna pay for it.

[–] UlyssesT@hexbear.net 9 points 2 months ago

Kooky Kamalmalexia and socialist Sotha Sanders

Welcome Nerevar, to this beautiful place. Everybody's saying it's where destiny is made. It's where destiny is made, folks. Believe it. Don't bring the false Sunder, that fake Sunder that's disgraceful, okay? Come to Donald J Trump openly, and not by stealth. We will speak for the law and the land and you will say "sir, sir, this is how I honor the Sixth House and the Tribe Unmourned," and you will shed beautiful tears. trump-enlightened

[–] radio_free_asgarthr@hexbear.net 22 points 2 months ago

He is still relitigating the 2020 primaries, just like the Bernie bros. True horseshoe theory.

[–] Barx@hexbear.net 9 points 2 months ago (1 children)

It's because his idea of the farthest left people to compare to are Sanders and Warren yeah.

[–] sewer_rat_420@hexbear.net 6 points 2 months ago

Warren wishes she was as far left as Kommiela

[–] HarryLime@hexbear.net 38 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Remember after the debate when Biden was being obstinate about dropping out and he made appearances wearing a lot of bronzer and it looked like he was turning into Trump? And now Trump is turning into Biden. It's like...IDK like Bergman's Persona or Villeneuve's Enemy or something.

[–] InevitableSwing@hexbear.net 7 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago)

Biden: "This painting is one of a kind?"

Artist: "Of course it's one of a kind! What kind of man do you think I am?"

Later

Trump: "This painting is one of a kind?"

Artist: "Of course it's one of a kind! What kind of man do you think I am?"

The artist is a vampire who painted The Picture of Dorian Gray.

For a moment I thought the Net Gods were angry with me. I'm on PC and the power went out for half a second. It was short enough that Windows kept running. This is the first time it ever happened liked this. Usually it's ~3 seconds so Windows reboots.

[–] SorosFootSoldier@hexbear.net 29 points 2 months ago (1 children)

"And so Biden, get a load of this, Biden got his brain repaired, it's true! The president getting his brain fixed on YOUR tax dollars. But not me, oh no, I have good brain. Brain better than Pocahontas, who hated Bernie Sanders by the way. Is someone making toast? Going back to Mexico I saw a lot of dinosaurs near that plant. We tried to ride one of them but it objected, very rudely, it said "get off me!" must have been a brontosaurus." a-little-trolling

[–] corgiwithalaptop@hexbear.net 8 points 2 months ago

"People tell me, when I'm spouting off ideas, they tell me - Mr Trump, you give very good brain" - trump-feed

[–] SoyViking@hexbear.net 27 points 2 months ago (2 children)

Imagine how atrociously horrible a candidate you have to be to be polling even with this guy.

[–] Pentacat@hexbear.net 14 points 2 months ago

It’s historically bad every election. Instead of “most important election of our lifetime,” they should be selling “the last opportunity to vote for someone this good.” Because we know it will get worse.

[–] Grandpa_garbagio@hexbear.net 11 points 2 months ago

The candidates are figureheads for the schism in the American bourgeois, it could literally just be the color red vs blue and nothing would be different

[–] nat_turner_overdrive@hexbear.net 26 points 2 months ago

The oval office requires a lich near death as they are easier to inhabit and control, therefore Trump will win

[–] SSJ3Marx@hexbear.net 19 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (1 children)

...is Pocahontas rated low in America? Seems to me she's kind of a folk hero.

edit: oh wait was he talking about hisssssss ? lmao

[–] Pentacat@hexbear.net 9 points 2 months ago

I had forgotten completely.

[–] radio_free_asgarthr@hexbear.net 18 points 2 months ago

We might actually get a president more demented and incoherent than either Biden or Reagan. I love imperial decline. It's amazing the US tried to own the USSR over their measly and pathetic attempts at gerontocracy.

[–] Hestia@hexbear.net 15 points 2 months ago (1 children)

The famous Marxist, Pocahontas.

[–] Speaker@hexbear.net 12 points 2 months ago (1 children)

I think he's referring to Liz Warren.

[–] Hestia@hexbear.net 5 points 2 months ago (1 children)

I'm well aware of that lol

[–] Speaker@hexbear.net 5 points 2 months ago

It's hard to tell with Sundown: The Sequel.

New lathe curse: Republicans pressure Donald Trump to step down as the candidate so they can run Kamala Harris. Vance and Walz are either co-vice presidents or merge into one being, Joy D Walz.

[–] FnordPrefect@hexbear.net 15 points 2 months ago (2 children)

"Bring me a politician to deflect building communist power. The kind they had in the '30s"

If you don't want to click the linkIt's the rambling Abe Simpson strikebreaker clip

[–] FlakesBongler@hexbear.net 31 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Rambling Grandpa is my favorite

[–] take_five_seconds@hexbear.net 18 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Anyway, long story short...is a phrase whose origins are complicated and rambling.

They've got some decent writers when they aren't using 90% of their brainpower to write about mysterious airstrikes in Gaza

I entirely agree.

Kamala weak puny Marxist bad brain but me Trump very, very good brain n very good genes thoroughbred genes so strong and powerful - strong and powerful - strong and powerful - strong and powerful - strong and— Fatal runtime error in Trump Gold O/S 0.7 beta. Rebooting.

[–] InevitableSwing@hexbear.net 12 points 2 months ago

Bit idea

At a rally Trump starts with a complaint.

"A radical left Marxist Youtube video Trump. Made fun of Trump. Many hours minutes long. Very long. It was wrong. Very wrong. Redub now."

Rebut? Probably. And he proceeds to speak near gibberish in a six hour jeremiad on sharks, toilets, "windmills" and many of his other greatest hits. At his lowest point he rants angrily for ~30 minutes on "new tv fried chicken" and how "old was better but not better". He gets so worked up - he doesn't say a single additional word about the video or even Marxism itself.

We spend hours looking for the video with no luck. Finally somebody says that maybe Trump's broken brain made the whole thing up.
