Take Cuba off the state sponsors of terror list, Biden. We're not asking you to nationalize industries or end all wars. Just write a little note that costs you or your country nothing and will save thousands of lives. There was literally no factual basis for putting them on the list, it was Trump on his way out. You can even score political points by saying "look how terrible Trump was, it's over now."
It should be noted that Cuba is going through a lot but it’s still in better shape than Capitalist Haiti.
A better comparison might be to the capitalist Dominican Republic, which is a very similar country both in culture and history. Cuba's nominal and PPP per capita GDP are very similar, and they have similar HDI.
