Unless they got this from elsewhere, but I can't find it anywhere else

I'm looking for RPGs to play with friends where each player has different roles and you need to cooperate to progress.

We tried playing MMOs but my friends won't play on their own so they don't work (especially with ffxiv as the msq is not at all "coopable"); the subscription would also be a dealbreaker. Do you know of anything with similar gameplay that is playable entirely in coop?

We enjoyed Monster Hunter World (but not Rise), although there's not much actual cooperation as there are few interactions in combat.

The only game I found that seems it might be what I'm looking for is the original Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, but we can't get it to work online (dolphin randomly freezes with netplay).

When young my experience with articulation was a friend whose figures fingers moved. Talk about jelly, and there was way more than that he would find in his yearly trips to visit family in hong kong. Ok. Also. We are talking the 80's. More specifically and a little bit about the comic meta. Her little girl persona. Im not sure if its been used before. She has an angel and demon persona that started appearing as mental tug of war early on in the comics life and then there is a little girl princess that became a regular and seems to handle the child like impulses. Im a little surprised that inner monologue persona did not deliver the line here. The newest one I have seen is sorta a troll that seems to represent anger but maybe more base instinct.

in favor of using ONLY MESSAGING SERVICES, public messaging services, sorta like discord if i want to make friends, because i realized that making friends is already hard enough and therefore it's harder to make friends in social media!! mostly because of the complicated ui!! dang it!! but yea if i were to ditch everything and instead use messaging services, PUBLIC messaging services like discord or even matrix, i think i would make friends more easily, that would make me very ok, plus i could show off more stuff that i've been working on like programming and get feedback and stuff, woa!! anyway what do you think please??
