I don't know if it's related, but I recently changed my password. Always log in twice (once on computer in Chrome and another in Brave phone app).

=/ dunno why it keeps logging off every few minutes

Besides me wanting to immediately say things like Metroid, Celeste, Tomb Raider, Life is Strange and such.

Games I enjoyed

  • Cat Lady / Lorelai
  • DOS2 (technically you can just play Sebille and Lohse stories)
  • fault milestone (incomplete)
  • anything by Christine Love (visual novels)
  • Transistor

Then other random games I can think of that I didn't see listed

  • Fatal Frame
  • Bleed
  • They Bleed Pixels
  • Franbow
  • Beyond Good and Evil
  • Beyond Two Souls
  • Indivisible
  • Hatsune Miku games? (lol)
  • Potionomics
  • Alice Madness Returns
  • Tandem: A Tale of Shadows
  • Gris
  • Little Misfortune
  • Crypt of the Necrodancer
  • Neptunia series
  • Saintmaker

And I should stop before I am here all day thinking... lol

I remember growing up playing Nintendo games up and other AAA games until I started watching YT. Particular TB and adjacent YouTubers.

Now-a-days, especially watching most of Summer Games Fest, I feel like I really am not excited about AAA games as I used to be and generally prefer indie games

Think it's a combination of time, DLC, gamba bs, same game released 7 thousand times and broken games at launch that have mostly turned me away from AAA games. Nintendo, Ubisoft, Blizzard, SquareEnix and others, have further tainted the appreciation I once had for these companies with the level of abuse to their fanbases and even their own employees.

How you all feel about AAA vs Indie games? Which do you prefer, and has this changed for you over time?

Nidhogg 2 - I love the first game and the second game is fun, but I honestly hate the art.

You have to remember that the internet in general has short term memory but surprising good memory at other things. It was good to see people actually get together for a few days and see that there are still subreddits that stayed dark. I know people are still leaving after these apps start to close down as well.

It's hard to fight EVERY corporation, but I feel like the amount of people that have been burned by Twitter will have that lingering thought in people's mind with Reddit as well.

Only time will tell, but I hope that people continue to fight these greedy CEOs that think that they can literally get away with literally anything...
