Jellyfin looks like it will now have 2 release candidates for testing and bug-fixing before the full release. As such, this won’t auto-update, but the brave can install manually.

This is the guide I used recently to set up Jellyfin on an Ubuntu server which had already been running Plex.

As a former Plex user I have to say I'm overall much happier with Jellyfin - not only because it's open source, but streaming quality and responsiveness is better.
