First the Berserk creator, now this. I hope like with the first one, the series would smoothly continue carrying the light of their legacy.

lichess integration so every unresolvable argument can be decided by a chess duel. A bot reacts when it's called by a command (plus arguments to customize the game) and drops a link (only OP can access and play, others join as spectators). Results are then posted as a reply. It's not possible atm, but I guess lichess devs are based and won't mind a little customization on their side for that silly matter. Federating with them would be a way to null many people's bingo cards.

My instance discuss.online recently switched to a new version of Lemmy that causes Connect, Liftoff and Jerboa to either crash or being unable to log in. It has a sticky with admin's comments to check and reach out for more info. When these updates will be rolled onto other bigger instances, it may render clients unusable until a quick fix on their side. Be aware.

edit: That sticky is there https://discuss.online/post/1294119

Funny enough, it showed a (1) bell notification about your reply with it still inaccessible 😄

For some reason I can't load feed via Connect app while logged into this instance, but it works with others instances and by logging in there via browser. Noticed it today around 6 hours ago. Idk if it's related to this problem but it's weird.

It ceased to be obligatory after USSR so most public schools toned it down to general safety instructions, i.e. what to do in extreme conditions like fires, gas leaks, kidnapping etc. Servicing rifles and a shooting range, taking additional responsibility and costs? Hell nah.

There was a wave of militant orgs for children tho, so something like YoungArmy could've reintroduced it.

1.0 is promises fulfilled, 2.0 sounds like something on a level of a new entry (or a big advertising exaggeration). We'd see.

New itrunsdoom category? Impressive.

Transition may be unconventional, involving means of trans-portation and what-nots.

Why would they even do it? Those votes may only be casted by (1) holders of russian internal passports for (2) russian-approved figureheads on (3) territories under military control and ideological persecution. These results can't be used for any sort of argument. Even to show them to international partners who won't be that happy to recognize them now. Even to local vatniks.

Maybe there shouldn't be a scheme simplifying a complex matter to two axes, coupled with these short questionnaires? Or it shouldn't be taken seriously at all? PCM is a Harry Potter houses test for political fandoms on the internet, it has it's niche, but neither it, nor other models bring something meaningful to the table for it is by design a gross oversimplification.

I like LEGO games for their simple light-hearted humor and recreation of well known scenes from other IPs, esp. SW\LOTR ones.

Imagine learning in your teens that your gender is a pink-smoking plane crash claiming a pilot.

It happened to me a couple of times. May there be a warning dialog before that? Because if you unlog, you'd need to log in again with empty login and password forms. And it's just one tap from other accounts in account switching menu.

Or maybe put it onto the bottom of a sidebar? Idk.

I've tried many recs from ProtonDB but it doesn't work for me. Both DS1 and DS2 just never open a window.

I use Steam, I switched proton versions and some %program launch options, but no luck.

If you have some ideas, I'd love to hear them.

  • Several Chinese citizens denied entry on July 29, embassy says
  • Embassy demands that Russia provide ‘satisfactory answer’

China’s embassy in Moscow blasted what it called a “brutal” handling by Russian authorities of a denial of entry to the country by several Chinese citizens.

“Russia’s brutal and excessive law-enforcement activities in this incident have seriously violated the legitimate rights and interests of the Chinese citizens,” the embassy said in a post Friday on WeChat, the popular Chinese social-media outlet.
