Not even that, they’re focused on a fraction of a fraction of the electorate while ignoring the third that doesn’t vote. It’s illogical.

When using Orpheusdl (not sure if I'm allowed to link to it) and specifically the Apple Music module, you need to put your user token from the web player in the configuration. Does anyone know how to retrieve this? I am currently an Apple Music subscriber.

I’ve frequently seen this claim, and similar ones, but it doesn’t really make sense. If not voting for Biden or not voting at all is actually a vote for Trump then his votes outnumber Biden’s by a landslide since ~80 million people don’t vote. So, by this logic, Trump should win and it shouldn’t even be close.

Yeah I agree with the sentiment, use whatever is good for you, but I feel like most advanced linux users are not using Mint. They typically come to the realization that everything is either Debian, Arch, or build it yourself so they use one of those.

I know I can go to /instances to see a list of blocked instances but is there a log or something that lists why an instance was blocked?

For example xrs.cx is on the blocklist. I’ve never even heard of this instance and just picked this one from the list at random. When I go there it just seems like a tiny, run-of-the-mill instance. Not saying I don’t trust lemm.ee admins but I’m just curious.

I love this instance and am definitely not trying to create more work for anyone! I just didn’t know if this already existed or where to look.

The original numbers were put out by a marketing agency and have been criticized as inaccurate. Other attempts to quantify private jet usage do not show Taylor Swift in the top 30. Travis Scott, Kim Kardashian, Elon Musk, Beyoncé & Jay-Z, and Bill Gates hold the top 5.

Lmao “Vermin Supreme” is a real person:

Vermin Love Supreme (born 1960 or 1961) is an American performance artist and activist who has run as a candidate in various local, state, and national elections in the United States. He served as a member of the Libertarian Party's judicial committee. Supreme is known for wearing a boot as a hat and carrying a large toothbrush, and has said that if elected President of the United States, he will pass a law requiring people to brush their teeth. He has campaigned on a platform of zombie apocalypse awareness and time travel research, and promised a free pony for every American.

It's so cool that ~~we are~~ Capitalism is giving young women the idea that they can make money by selling their body. I'm sure that is great for society.

FTFY

Whether doing sex work, manual labor, or a desk job, you are selling your body for profit. If you have a problem with that then you have a problem with Capitalism.

Increasing the money supply would have been fine if it had gone into working people's pockets, infrastructure, jobs, housing, and other productive uses. But yeah, when it's just pumped into the stock market or funneled through business via PPP then, go figure, the rich get richer while everyone else suffers.

Is there a way to see which instances a Mastodon instance has defederated with? For lemmy instances, for example, you can go to /instances to see a list of other connected and blocked instances.
