It all comes down to

  1. User Interface (linux is just not as easy to use as e.g. MacOS)
  2. Applications/Software (yes there is a flatpack (and others) store but it‘s not nearly as usable as Mac App store/windows store
  3. Installation (Most laptops/desktops don‘t have linux as base Model Option)
  4. Security and setup - in Mac or Windows the UI is a base component you mostly cannot destroy using one line of Terminal code
  5. the most user „friendly“ Part of Windows/mac you don‘t have to use terminal, but for linux you Most likely have to

i love mac, but windows in comparison to linux is still more „user friendly“ sadly

Maybe you have to ask yourself if it really matters that much to you, to host a party and do stuff your relevant others do. Sometimes when you actually feel better with having the life you have maybe thats a good thing. Often times the feeling of not being the person you think you should be makes you feel worse than just being true to yourself. Do what makes you happy, even if that doesn‘t satisfy the wishes of your 21 y/o self :)

The reason we don't see 'pre-today humans' walking around is that humans and other primates, like monkeys, have common ancestors. Over millions of years, different environmental pressures led to diverse evolutionary paths. Monkeys continued evolving into various species, just as our ancestors evolved into modern humans. It's not a case of one transforming directly into another but branching paths from shared roots. #EvolutionExplained
