the sheer number of times i had to read that article as the first assignment in a college course… it was gross. thank god for the one professor who told me how much he despised Hardin for how badly he misunderstood the actual history the commons.

even in my grad school courses too, they taught it as given. fortunately a lot of folks were starting to get it and push back though, which i find encouraging
