I know, Congress should be ashamed of themselves. We would be hard pressed to find a group that had a worse understanding of technology

I believe libel laws already exist, but when you're in Congress you must make laws in a reactionary way otherwise considered thought and reason might begin to permeate the law. We wouldn't want that.

Snowpocalypse? That looks like about 6", not used to getting much snow these days eh? Where I live we need to see 3 or more feet to consider it a snowpocalypse, what you got is just a dusting

I guess, according to this article, car insurance companies are encouraging people to drive recklessly and kill others in their vehicles, simply by providing them with insurance against the bodily injury of others. I'm not sure how the author doesn't see the parallels between any insurance that guards against reckless behavior and the NRA's insurance. To be clear I'm not a user of their insurance or a member of their organization, just finding the lack of introspection in the argument used in the article appalling.

Even worse, they'll claim it was a bug

Well when Karen asks for the 40th time how to add a new user to the system, Karen's getting referred to the documentation.

I don't believe a Bluetooth speaker needs an elaborate application to work, the functionality of a Bluetooth speaker is complete without an app. I'll gladly miss out so rando sketchy companies do not get more than they deserve to know. You do you though

/me peers at my $300 Samsung S10e bought 3 years ago, my $1200 Asus ROG Strix laptop, and my $400 TCL 4k TV and wonders if your quoted prices are inflated merely to justify your own pre-order. Not sure where your buying stuff but you should really shop around, those prices are horrendous...

I think that's the point, the people who care about things like the API changes have already made the migration, the rest of the losers stuck there in rubbit don't matter to us, and as other posters noted this is likely the group of people is productive. Who cares. Leave them behind.

Not sure what this vast collection of resources is that you're pining over. Theeye, among the vast majority of actual piracy resources, were never really on rubbit anyway.....
