Excellent answers here. I would like to add another : Privacy/Security/Military grade encryption Hear me out. While there definetly have been companies making huge strides in that area (Proton,Mullvad,Tor,Brave,Linux foundation, etc) there are others who use those words without giving it a second thought.Facebook claimed they care about your privacy.Microsoft and security.NordVPN and their military grade encryption. These are huge companies and when they use these words to appease the masses, it is either meaningless or has become a buzzword

Fair enough. Didn't think that maintaining the engine is what Mozilla spends majority of it's Firefox budget on

Everytime I see comments regarding Mozilla''s financials,I have the same effing question: How does a company like brave or opera maintain their browser ?? AFAIK both don't have the level of community backing that Mozilla does nor do they have any (again AFAIK) agreement with a company like google for default search engine placement

I so so want to purchase an ebike. But the companies don't seem likely to stick around for long though.

Dad didnt allow me to use Windows cause of "viruses". So grew up using Mandriva Linux.Transitioned to Ubuntu when mandriva got discontinued. Currently using Arch BTW.Funny how he had the knowhow to install Linux AND was worried about viruses (XP era though).
