That's too bad, lemonade made with honey is amazing.

The Donald subreddit migrated to patriots.win (that's the url) when it got banned. It's kind of an old reddit clone just filled with more hate. I check it out every so often to see the temperature of trump world and try to get some insight on what my crazy aunt and uncle are thinking about before I see them. I don't think it's as large as the others but you are able to browse it in a web browser.

Apparently the family that owns Chick fil a also bought a movie studio in 2022 in Atlanta and they filmed some marvel stuff there. So it might make a little bit of sense?

Why, because she won't be a doormat? I'd think that would be a benefit.

I actually prefer a mostly text web. If the trade off for ditching JavaScript is not getting hovering pop ups, I'm fine with that. I think that while JavaScript can help with usability, it's main use right now is being a pain in the ass. Images and video are useful, don't get me wrong, and that will always be the most popular "use" of the internet, but most of the time I just want to go on the Internet and read cool shit without fifty different corporations trying to fuck me over with the promise of "enhanced usability". Like a link has to have some floating bullshit for me to click it. Absolute madness.

Yep, you can. I did it that way for about a month before i got a debrid account. The selection isn't as great since some torrents are dead and since you're torrenting you're at the mercy of the seeders. Also you should be using a VPN while you stream so you don't get a whiny email from your ISP. But i had no trouble watching popular stuff without a db account.

You absolutely don't have to stay at the bank you have a mortgage through. My checking/savings, auto loan and mortgage are all at different banks.

What if I told you pure cheese is also made of chemicals? What if I told you you're made of chemicals too? Would you stop eating yourself? I bet you would, you weirdo.

If they were made with hemp grown in compliance with the 2018 farm bill, they should be federally legal. I get hemp derived gummies shipped to me from out of state all the time.

I'd assume that includes flights, lodging and meals. If they have two or three kids I could see it costing that much all in, especially if you go to the park multiple days.

Most definitions of social media are some form of "sharing content for the purpose of socializing in a public manner". I wouldn't think having a real life identity linked to your account would be a requirement for a social network. Why wouldn't reddit, lemmy, or even an old school forum be considered social media? You're sharing and discussing content on a community platform. I dunno, just something I've been thinking about recently as I'm using lemmy more.
