The mistreatment goes back 100 years+. Climate change is hitting the region too, so yet another Western 'gift'. That said - warning: unpopular opinion! - they could help by having fewer children. Too many north African and Middle Eastern countries are way above what is sustainable, so quality of life is crashing as they fight for what few resources they have.

Its true eating meat is nice, but it's terrible for the environment. At least consider eating less meet. You are lucky - there are many very tasty vegetarian Hindu meals.

Yeah...except the supermarkets are renowned for treating suppliers like shit. This is pure white washing. Source - my fiancé's dad used to be a manager of a large supermarket in France (but not Carrefour).

It's not just about crashes. You can switch compositor without logging out or save save the full state of an app to disk to 'sleep' the app if you are short of memory. I'm sure people will think of other possibilities too.

London buses definitely don't suck. You can't lay light rail everywhere and buses are great at bridging that gap.
