Drew Carey had some material about this. I don't remember the whole bit, but part of it was about how after puberty, all your zits migrate down your back to your ass. πŸ˜†

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_writing#Inventions_of_writing

According to the article, experts currently believe that writing was invented independently at least four times:

  • Mesopotamia (between 3400 and 3100 BCE)
  • Egypt (around 3250 BCE)
  • China (1200 BCE)
  • Mesoamerica (by 500 BCE)

There is still debate around Rongorongo script and Vinča symbols, since no is sure if they are actually writing systems.

I was going to include the link to the Verge article but I got an error message when posting and I thought it hadn't gone through. Apologies!

The Verge had a listing for the Hyper-X Cloud II Wireless headset for like $60, but it turned out that price was for the wired version. πŸ™

I'm not sure you'd call it a slow burn but I really enjoyed how the relationship developed in Prince of Persia: Sand of Time. Pity we never got a proper sequel.

We all either love horror films, or hate horror films.

Ehh I don't like torture porn or movies with stupid loud noise jump scares, but I love anything horror that's camp or schlock, like

Chopping Mall
Evil Dead 2/Army of Darkness
Fright Night (1985)
The Hazing
Night of the Comet
Reanimator
Return of the Living Dead
