I had one fly through my open window while I was going 80 on the highway.

Didn’t know what it was at the time, but luckily it was stunned in the back of my car.

Pulled over and looked up what it could be. Threw that fucker out as fast as I could before it could murder me.

Flew from Utah to Dallas. It was so worth it. I was almost shaking at one point. Colors were so weird around us, birds stopped chirping for a bit. People were cheering.

Our Airbnb and rental cancelled last minute, so we ended up having to scramble at the last minute. And the whole cloud situation...but everything worked out in the end.

My first partial solar eclipse was when my dad took me to elementary school to get enrolled for kindergarten in '94. The front desk person handed us a sheet of solar filter (?) and went out to look at the sun. One of my earliest core memories.

I missed the one in 2017 because I was being lazy and it was only 2 hours away. But I didn't plan and my wife was working.

You can install the battle net launcher on the steam deck and play. I'll see if I can find the installation instructions and edit my post.

Yup. It was triple digits here in the southwest and they're selling coats and jackets like we're gonna need them this weekend.

I have a Fuji x-t4 that gets tossed into a backpack with lenses in a separate pocket. No insurance. No issues so far.

Based on your picture, do you have a Fuji?

Good picture.

If anyone's planning to go there, just remember there are hundreds of people around you trying to get the same picture.

Absolutely. Ublock origin which also blocks YouTube ads and running a pihole for my home network for the rest of the devices.

Yeah, it's unfortunate when it happens. But some of the apps are still buggy when loading posts.

Sometimes it'll load comments from a previous post, so I have to go back and reload the post again just to make sure everything's right.

My feed keeps defaulting to 'old' no matter what I change it to. Anyone else having the same issue?

Just saw this one yesterday on lemmy:

https://dearrow.ajay.app/

Removes clickbait thumbnails from YouTube and just pulls one from somewhere within the video.

Same creator as Sponsorblock, another must have for YouTube. Skips portions of the video that are basically spam, configurable to skip various parts.

https://sponsor.ajay.app/

And of course ublock origin for ad blocking, which also removes advertising in YouTube videos, at least for now.

Whatsapp and Google Messenger for RCS. I wish other apps could use RCS or I'd use third party.
