He mentioned the following.
“some of them are so bad, we don’t even trust the countries to hold them, because we don’t want them coming back.”
I think it is more to send a signal than a well thought out policy but indeed good question.

Why is this downvoted? Didn't history prove this enough by now?
Interesting - democratizing journalism. Wondering what the prerequisites will be to be able to apply.
She's okay but Kayleigh McEnany > Karonie Leavitt
Not a big fan of the tarrifs - a dangerous bet. His goal doesn't seem to be using tarrifs to end income tax, but force other countries into submission. Wondering how this will play out.
No - just like I don't want to ban people having a conversation in a pub about a topic I don't like even if they just tell lies to each other.
If it was up to the EU we'd still believe there was no chance in the world the Corona Covid virus could have ever come from a Chinese lab and even suggesting it should have you banned from social media. Free float of ideas and let the best argument win.
Totally agree. I still think from a economic and personal freedom perspective you're a lot better off in a capitalist society under authoritarian control than in a Marxist one. Nobody is safe in an authoritarian communist (or probably better term - collectivist) society. How much examples do you need. Mao was the worst. China embraced capitalism and significantly improved the living standards of its people after Mao, while still remaining an authoritarian regime. Pinochet made the economy thriving and under socialist Salvador Allende the economy was a mess.
I am certainly not in favor of an authoritarian regime but at least capitalism gives you more economic freedom and property rights.
sure. Guy often does what he says he will do. The "Trump-wall" was a nice example during his first term. I think he was the only one believing he would do it. Worried that this might also apply to Greenland and his most extreme tarrif statements.
This has been celebrated as a Libertarian victory, but imo it is just a minor one. Of course it is great for him personally but it isn't really changing anything in society. From that perspective DOGE is a lot more impactful.
From everything that is happening right now in the US - DOGE is the most exciting. We definitely could use some DOGE in Europe
