My first job out of college was a shitty sales job… the first two weeks were literally me and 6 other new hires writing down a script based on the boss reciting the approved responses and it was our job go home and type them out and then print out and have them at our desk for then spending 8 hours on the phone. Insane in hindsight

I've been feeling a little antsy lately; both socially and just feeling like I need to do more. I live in a pretty major city but I also feel like people have been leaving DSA in droves and a lot of the work they do seems to be just canvassing for local candidates. Interested to just hear the thoughts of others who are still active in their local orgs to see if I'd be wasting my time joining.

Ask them if there’s anything Biden could do to make them not vote for him. Just a yes/ no, don’t ask them for their specific red line.

If the say no- ask them how that makes them any different from Trump voters (they criticize his voters for following him blindly and the worst thing that can happen to them is being compared to a Trump voter.)

If they say yes; then it’s just degrees of difference from you and them.

I have no idea the episode but one of my favorite podcasting moments was during radio war nerd when Mark brought up something Noah said and immediately John started complaining about how stupid he is and then mark was like oh apparently he’s a big fan of ours and John just had to immediately pretend to feel bad lmao. Noah is an all time dumb guy.

I knew he was bad on Israel when I voted for him but who could have known what would have have happened last fall. Our other senator is a centrist, normal lib who actually has some decent votes to his name. I will never bother voting for Fetterman again.

Anyone who thinks Trump was worse than Bush is deeply unserious and their opinion can be discarded

Just comes down to if you prefer your victims to be American or not. I won’t vote for either

I am deeply, deeply embarrassed that I voted for this guy. What’s more I was enthusiastic about him. My vote wasn’t the deciding one but I have quite literally felt sick to my stomach about the fact that my name is on the record having cast a vote for him. On the other hand, it’s really Impressive how quickly he’s done the speed run from “progressive” to outright fascist. I won’t be fooled again and I hope his family disowns him

Not my problem

We all know the hypocrisies of the pro- Israel stances, I’m not going into specific arguments but it’s just everywhere. Normal people seem to have bought in even quicker than they did with supporting Ukraine. it’s awful. Free Palestine.
