I don't think they mean that everything should have a GUI, but everything that a regular user is expected to do. I still haven't been able to figure out how to create a .7z file in Linux without using the CLI, and that's a pretty normal thing to want to do I feel

Most N64 games don't actually use the controller pak, instead using their own battery saves
Why would a smartwatch need a subscription?? what does it even do?
Isn't the EU making them do that in a few years?
I'm not sure if this counts as a conspiracy, but I wholeheartedly believe that aliens are real, but that we have no way of ever contacting them or confirming their existence because they're so damn far away
To be fair, sarcasm specifically can be VERY hard to convey via text or even voice, which is where a majority of communication happens nowadays.
It's possible that it might only be a thing in PAL regions - I'd try, but I don't have anything that uses composite to try now.
I swear that I've seen it mentioned somewhere, but you are entirely right that I can't find a source. Maybe it was some weird device I used a long time ago? Regardless, sorry for not doing my research before posting
Inaccurate meme - the white and red RCAs in composite typically don't actually carry the left and right channels - usually, the white one is L+R, meaning both the left and right channels combined into one, and the red one is L-R, the difference between the right and left channels.
This is done so that a mono television, which will only have a yellow and white port, will still be able to hear both audio channels, as opposed to having to completely miss out on one of them
Hopefully they run passenger service on the line too - it can be an immense help to the rural areas in much of Africa
I don't entirely agree with this - there are many places accross the world where public transit stops at wilderness locations to allow people to access them without a car. It's a matter of making sure that you can't have any "development" around the transit stop.
Y'know what else would help with "The EU's green revolution"? Bikes and trains.
