That it was in a state of total chaos: the management company wasn't doing their job, one of the members wasn't paying his fees (only 3 units so it was a major hit), and I found out we didn't have any insurance. I ended up taking over, got rid of the shitty management company, sued the delinquent member, evicted one of his tenants (drug addicts that left the doors unlocked and would set off the building smoke detectors all the time), and sold/moved once the dust settled.

I'm in DevOps, so anyone not in tech has no idea what I do/what that means. So, I end up just saying "I work in IT".

My new doctor didn't like that answer when we were making small talk and wanted a more detailed answer, so I tell him. He looks at his nurse and says: did any of that make sense?

Transformers The Movie (1986). I still get teary eyed when Optimus Prime dies.

Buy the tv that suits your needs and then use a streaming device: Roku, Apple TV, Raspberry Pi, any modern video game console, etc. Back in college an acquaintance worked at Hulu and confirmed that no one works on the smart tv app. This was like 15 years ago, so things may have changed but I've never enjoyed the smart tv experienced (always been super slow Ford me).

Looks like they're in there UK for the rest of the year. They tour pretty often, so you'll definitely get a chance. They used to come to the Boston area twice a year for like 5+ years. Amazing every time.

If you ever get a chance to see them live, do it. Dick Valentine (the singer) is super nice and puts on an amazing show. They travel all over and usually play at small venues, so tickets are reasonably priced.

I really enjoyed Pandorum and The Babadook.

Become overwhelmed and do nothing. This was not a problem prior to having children though. In the before time I'd go train in martial arts, video games with friends, etc.

Doing ok: in-laws took the kids yesterday. My wife and I were able to take some pretty sweet naps.

We have been very lucky and fortunate to acquire the American dream. My wife and I wouldn't have been able to do it without the help of her family though. Every time I look at the housing market it's only gotten crazier.

I didn't go, I didn't see the point in it. People always ask if I regret not going: not even a little bit. I don't like dancing and thought the entire idea of it dumb to begin with. Also, I'd rather not go broke over one night like that. I did have a few friends go and they said they had fun, good for them. It's just not my thing.
