It's both. It is really more expensive for me as a Greek to live alone than for a German adult in my age, surely. But our family bonds are also stronger in the Balkans/South Europe than in most of the rest of Europe and it is not weird to stay with your parents until after Uni/1st good job. And sometimes even later.

I don't know if the data are taken based on your address or based on polling. But I never change my address to my rental because it's a hassle to do it every couple of years
Not great, but "it's working" at least
No wet food at all. I have wasted 100s of euros on wet food that he MAY lick a little bit before leaving it alone.... No idea why he hates it so much
Athens is just 200€ lower than Vienna. Athens has about 35-40% of the average salary that Vienna has. About 85% of the wage vs less than 40%. And Vienna usually includes utility bills...
Except for that the Redmi N7 has a smaller and older battery, and that that stock "has to go" so they are not going to charge much anyways. Plus you probably get an OEM battery and not the original, which may mean worse capacity/quality or just cheaper in general because "it's not original"
Yeah, I hope it gets "fixed" at some point ("fixed" because I guess it is by design). For now, I created an account to most large Lemmy servers and subscribed to the magazine so future users find a fuller community :P
I see. Too bad, but hopefully this is something that may get fixed in a future ActivityPub protocol update (don't know if it is sth the applications can fix themselves)
So, I created a lemmy.world account just to subscribe and check if the federation now works. It works, but only for new posts, which is not ideal either. Hopefully federation can be fixed for older posts as well (I know that comments need someone from your instance to have subscribed to that community, but posts should always be visible to others)
I think the language settings only changes what you see in your main feed, and not the community feed. Though I may be wrong...
Hopefully @jerry could help us undestand the issue!
Could you elaborate a bit?
I also use Zerotier for such cases. Not sure if you can somehow limit the ports they see, but works great in general
