Just wanted to see if you all had some thoughts/resources to help explain to a friend that the British medical system's restrictions on youth transitioning are based on a culture of transphobia, not some scientific consensus. The friend in question is, I think, a well-meaning "we should be more like Europe" liberal, and was reading about the UKs treatment of trans youth (namely their restrictions on transitioning) and seemed to think it was based on some level-headed analysis instead of it being TERF Island. I'm trying to educate myself on the whole situation since I've only got a general understanding, so let me know if you have any reading/thoughts and I'll take a look.

Follow whatever instructions they give you when it comes to waiting on exercise/sex. In the moment it'll definitely feel fine, but you will be punished later. Speaking from experience lol.

Also icing before bed is good, also buying extra ice packs is probably a good idea (4 was a good number for me, but you can always just return them later so get a lot).

Also, if there isn't anyone around to help after, try to set things up so that everything's within reach of the couch when you get back. I had help, but they couldn't be around for the entire recovery period, so yeah keep the essentials close by.

Oh and there's probably going to be dried blood in your ejaculate the first few times so take whatever precautions you need to/don't freak out.

As far as my experience, I wasn't one of the fast recovery period guys. But even then it wasn't too bad, I just moved around and did things carefully, tried not to push it (ex. going on long walks without very supportive underwear). I'd sometimes have discomfort after sex, but that was usually my fault if you know what I mean. It's hard for me to place exactly when I felt totally normal, but I'd say within a month or two I stopped having to be careful about the way I did things. But that's just me, and I did have an injury back in the day that may have been the reason why it took me a minute to feel totally normal.

I used to live in a rural area with a lot of small farms and there was this loophole where you'd pay a company for partial ownership of a cow, and then they'd deliver raw milk to you. This was their way around laws prohibiting the sale of raw milk, since if you own a cow you're allowed to drink the milk raw if you want. So yeah unfortunately there's easy ways to get it if you live near farmers and shit.

So I can remember being peripherally aware of the fartlow saga, like I remember that she was a hardcore 'lock necklace' Zionist and might have said something transphobic, but anyone care to catch me up on/remind me how it all started? It's all lore I was to busy for at the time

Don't ask my why but I watched an interview he did with wao mao on YouTube and that's what he claims. Half the time he seems like he's doing a bit, but he does claim the Taliban actually liked his videos, treated him well (i.e. he lived in similar conditions to what a Taliban soldier would get, was fed will, etc) and that he was only held for six months because of a strict policy from someone higher up the chain of command. The soldiers he interacted with, he claims, were apologetic. He also claims the last 2 months of captivity were due to the UK side of the equation fucking up paperwork or something, so he could have been free much earlier.

Also talks about his mom abusing/psychologically torturing him, which might help explain (not excuse) his brain worms.

I saw a profile once where this woman had put that she wanted someone "mostly progressive" or something like that, which I thought was a weird way to phrase that until I scrolled down and saw an "I have my shit together and so should you" section of her profile that mentioned she had rental properties she'd "built up" or something. Must suck wanting to meet a guy that doesn't dehumanize you but is also okay with you sucking the juices out of people too poor to buy their own home.

Okay so I followed the first part, you want Russians dead and all that, it's the thing rn. But you realize saying "launch the nukes" is exactly the same thing as "death to America" but with more steps, right?

The expression (don't know the origin) is "scratch a liberal and a fascist bleeds." Basically pointing out the historical tendency of liberals to prefer a fascist-managed capitalism if their interests are threatened or it becomes clear the liberal order won't last (and could be replaced from the left).

Long time hexbear user, I've actually had pretty good luck getting input on non-political questions. No sick fish, but I've asked quite a variety of questions and gotten help. Maybe I would have gotten a higher quality answer on Reddit, but my experience with modern reddit (last 6ish years) has been hit or miss. Reminds me in a way of the forums I used back in the really 2000s. Even though the forums I was on were primarily oriented around tabletop gaming, the "general/off-topic" sections would have quite a variety of people and interests. And those people, since they all had a common interest, were far more talkative and generous with their time than what I've experienced in Reddit. IMO this makes up for the smaller population. Hexbear has that vibe for me, just with a non-sectarian socialist shitposting focus. Which works for me.
