Even though Google is developing Android it is open source and you can run it without Google. I believe projects like LineageOS and GrapheneOS would continue development with the existing code base if that ever changed. But yeah, personally, I still would love to see a Linux phone that does not rely on Google which is why I appreciate the efforts of the likes of Pine64.

The crust insulates the heat so you have to break it in half or crack the crust some other way. Same for hot pockets.

I use Keepa, same type of thing, and I'll just set it to notify me when it reaches the desired low price again. I rarely buy anything unless it's on sale prices now.

For scamazon I vastly prefer keepa

Okay, then tell me how to fix it. You say it’s easily fixable, tell me.

I will tell you how to fix it when you admit that you're an idiot that has been running their idiot mouth about things they don't understand... and you apologize for doing it.

Or do what everyone else does, tell me how I’m stupid, the problem is me, and then refuse to help fix this “easily fixable” issue. It’s because you don’t know how to fix it, but you can’t admit Linux is broken.

I could fix it in < 2 minutes... because it's an easy fucking fix.

Here’s a new thread. See how the first reply is also talking about how this is a common issue, and links to a post from January 2015?

Again, doesn't matter if others have had the problem, because there is a way to fix it and plenty of distros ship with it fixed out of the box. Just because you picked a distro that has the problem, and you are too dumb to fix it doesn't mean linux is broken. Having a choice in distros and packages is a fundamental principle of linux and that sets it apart from Windows where users have no choices.

How about in Windows when I plug my gopro into it and double click on a video file that it takes 10 seconds before it will start playing? In linux it starts playing instantly. Have you ever tried to run docker services in Windows? It's an absolute shitshow, but in linux it works flawlessly. See? I can give plenty examples of things working like shit in Windows that work perfectly in Linux. You actually are just an idiot, with no experience, and no idea how computer systems work.

What about setting custom keyboard shortcuts? Can't do it in Windows to the extent of Linux. What about fully customizing your desktop environment? Can't do it in Windows. But you think Windows just works? Nah bro, Windows doesn't work at all in my opinion when you can't do basic things like control and customize it. You have different priorities, you think "just working" means your shitty ass games run. I think just working means I have full control and customization and ownership over my box so I don't have to put up with ass desktop environment and ads and telemetry data.

So just keep trying to cope with the fact that you're an idiot and you need to used a dumbed down OS that sends off telemetry data and forces ads on you. It's okay. You're a dumb dumb and are willing to put up with the shitshow of Windows. It's okay if you cope by shitting on the superior OS, but it just makes you look like an idiot at the end of the day.

Your personal experience doesn't matter when people that have much more experience than you and actually understand the differences tell you.

You're just too stupid to know, Dunning-Kruger effect here.

I can give plenty of examples of things working better in Linux that don't work or run like shit in Windows. Your one little example is literally meaningless.

It's a Steam problem if it only happens in Steam. The only person that is coping is you because you can't solve a problem that is easily fixable so you cry about Linux when the real deficit is between your ears.
