I'm running a Pixel 7 with graphene too, but have never had any issues with the fingerprint reader. Where would an ultrasonic improve over the current version?

(Genuinely looking to understand, fingerprint sensors aren't something I've thought much about!)

Thanks for that - I'm on mobile, so not entirely sure what went wrong!

Annas Archive is usually my go-to for books, and a lot of other things to be fair!

I've found myself getting frustrated with the number of lemmy communities that are essentially just bots mirroring the respective reddit sub.

Thanks for mentioning this - I have a similar reading style to you and have recently been considering KU, so this is really helpful!

One that that has made me unsubscribe from several communities here is when they are just bot-lead reposts of the equivalent subreddit. This makes these communities on lemmy objectively worse than the reddit equivalent because there is not the population to interact with the sheer volume of posts, and it just becomes spam without engagement.

Brilliant - thanks for the tip there, I occasionally forget to refer to the instance!

I'll add myself to this ever growing list of people wanting an invite!

My decision is primarily based on if the concept of the book appeals to me, and general reviews, but reviews don't make or break the decision. If a book is for YA but sounds like an interesting concept, then I'll go for it!

Also in the sciences (I'm a geologist), Megagram is often used. Most recently I wrote a paper which included discussion about the amounts of Mercury in the atmosphere, and Mg was the unit used.

I'm considering changing up how I play!

I've pretty much always played medic/healer in any game with that type of role, so I'm curious about what your favourite class is in BattleBit, and maybe how it works with your play style?

#Welcome!

This is a new community for BattleBit Remastered, a low-poly FPS that takes the genre back to gameplay fundamentals in huge multiplayer matches, hoping to act as a fediverse hub for advice, gameplay clips, squad finding, etc.

Please feel free to contribute, and add any suggestions in the comments below.

Happy shooting!

  • Keep in mind that your mission is to Heal and Revive your teammates, not focus on Kills. Killing is necessary to collaborate with the team, upgrade weapons, and protect yourself, but it’s not the focus of this class.

  • Medics gain XP by healing and reviving allies. The more you dedicate yourself to this, the faster you’ll level up.

  • Bandages are vital items for a Medic. If you run out, you can replenish them at Ammo Boxes or through Airdrops.

  • Always seek protection whenever possible when healing or reviving your teammates. Lying down and staying out of enemies’ sight is an effective way to heal.

  • In the midst of intense gunfire, choose the best moment to revive and heal your teammates. It’s a difficult choice, and in the heat of battle, it’s common for Medics to die while trying to save their allies.

  • The Medic Kit has a small area of effect, so you don’t have to be right next to your teammate to heal them.

  • When playing as a Medic, remember that this is a support class, and it’s expected that you help your teammates at any time.

  • Whenever possible, drag your teammates to a more protected location while reviving them. That’s what the F key is for.

  • You can always drop a Medic Kit for your allies. To do this, select the Medic Kit and press the X key.

NOTE: Not my guide. Posting to lemmy as currently this sort of info is only really found on reddit or steam
