This is standard. I know of a minor who was groomed, and he was told repeatedly that he could be charged with creating child pornography. Don't let the Columbus PD fool you: this is how they all behave.

Why does Sergeant Benton have so much hair, and why is he out of uniform? The Brigadier will NOT be pleased.

Space programs definitely do science and stuff. All I meant to say was that Venus might not be the lowest hanging fruit for scientific discovery. It's really expensive to go there. Doesn't mean we shouldn't.
I see now how my post could read as an elon-fanboi type "colonize all the things" and that was not what I intended. I do think Atmospheric sensor clusters on Venus would be pretty awesome. It could give us an interesting set of insights into a wildly different environment.

Not much to gain by going there. Wildly corrosive, too hot, too hard to terraform with present tech.

Though shall now be spelled: Tho.

I'm guessing the switch they're discussing affects the tendency of the body to store excess energy instead of just passing it thru. That is: if you don't pack it on, you push it out. If you know what I mean...

Possibly. The shooter is pretty far from the targets. Looks like at least a full second of flight time before impact. Most big bore rifles are at least 2400 feet per second, so the target is 800+ yards away. That's a hell of a difficult shot, and the way the cross hair is directly on the target leads me to believe this is a computerized scope which is compensating for bullet-drop and windage.

Chiropractors.

Everyone needs to watch this video -- it's long, but she did a great job of spelling out the unavoidably insidious nature of Replika and.... Some other things.
