I hope the change is that he is harassed constantly and his donors suffer for their behavior. I want to keep talking about it forever so his reputation is trashed forever.

I was looking for the indictment breaking news today. Twitter is useless, as is Bluesky. I've curated a nice News list on Mastodon so it's working best. But more journalists need to be on there. They were all pretty dense and went back to the bird site where no one sees their posts.

Twitter’s algorithm currently boosts tweets from Twitter Blue accounts in the For You timeline and on hashtags. When Elon Musk took over, many warned that his changes to how Twitter verifies accounts would have serious implications for mis- and disinformation on the platform.

The cumulative effect of these changes has been that Twitter’s algorithm now, in the aggregate, downranks informed contributors (most of whom have not purchased Twitter Blue) in favour of Twitter Blue subscribers. Many of the people promoted by the algorithm at best have no idea what they’re talking about, and at worst have a malicious agenda.it was a full-blown civil war driven by racial tensions.

So, this sounds entirely different than what the BBC did, which is close their server to just their journalism accounts. I don't see any issue with that. FT just did it wrong. https://social.bbc/public/local

That's probably the third that gave up on the party when he was running for election the first time. The rest can't learn.

Non-knowledgeable people guessing about the identification of a random carcass, video, or photo of an animal seems to be a new social media game.

I've started a magazine partly to post pictures of "mystery creatures" that are in the news in the hopes that knowledgeable people can give more informed opinions on what they are instead of the typical non-helpful comments like "mutants" or "monsters", etc.
