Sorry for the old-school terminology and mis-terms in this message as I have not had a problem like this since my dumb-terminal days (I'm guessing that long)

How does one add the proper carriage returns to a post?

I have these three lines, with a new line on each but formats as one paragraph: This is line 1. This is line 2. This is line 3.

The only way I can separate these lines is using an extra carriage return between each line which looks horrible.

This is line 1.

This is line 2.

This is line 3.

How do I get the above lines to show up without that extra new line between each?

Not at all. I understand what your saying. My intentions were strictly for bot monitoring. From what I'm getting at the functionality doesn't exist to view all the subscribers. Thanks.

Is there a way to view the subscriber list. I'm thinking there are some bots sitting on the sub. I would like to confirm. Thanks.

Wow! My first hands on a Linux distribution! It was like version pl .18 or something like that. Not even v1 yet. I ran an internet access bbs off of it using shell and slip (for client) with 5 dialins. Backend was either DSL or 28.8k modem. Boy did that thing get laggy sometimes. People loved it though. I charged $20 for 3 months. Never made any money. I just did it for the fun. What a great distribution. Congrats Slackware!

Hi. I was personally hacked within the last two weeks as well by what I believe to be people that may work for Reddit In some form or fashion. I created communities that conflicted with their subreddits and there was another issue in which they were protecting one of their own and it was retaliation for that. Please reach out to me if you need more detail on that.

Reddit repost bots are spam, and that needs to be stopped. by iamsorry in c/general@lemmy.world
