oh my gosh, yes. for example, over the weekend, i brought deck to my parents. was playing Halo Wars before the drive. put deck to sleep (midgame), drove to my parents which takes an hour, hooked up the dock to their TV, turned deck back on, and BAM. playing Halo Wars right where i left off. i leave, and i do the same thing just in reverse. actually, come to think of it, i think im still in the middle of that game... Arbiter is kicking my ass

ok... if a game is free to play, the game itself is free. the name isnt a lie.

what do we call a product that is 70 dollars and still has microtransactions? i call that wallet-siphon Diablo IV.

what about a product that is 25 dollars and still has microtransactions? i call that game Deep Rock Galactic.

do i have to purchase skins to play a free to play game? no, i dont. i simply have to install it...

why would i buy a skin for D4? i wouldnt. i already had to pay 70.

why would i buy a skin for DRG? to support the developers. even though i paid 25.

why would i buy a skin for a F2P game? to support the developers. because it cost nothing except bandwidth and storage space.

i feel like Free To Play is the cheapest you can get...

honestly, i have played the game for about 60 hours and I am just about (halfway maybe?) through Act 2. I wouldn't worry so much about what act falls short in what way, when there is simply so much in the game as-is. Act 1 was available through Early Access, i would expect A1 to be more polished than A2 and 3 simply because A1 has had three years of player feedback versus the others which have had, what, 2 months of feedback?

i’d highly recommend it. it’s still a lot of fun solo, but playing it with my friend has been a treat. sometimes we make a decision for the laughs, other times we get into semi-serious debates about what to do, where to go… and it’s fun seeing how different our co-op playthrough is from our solo playthroughs.
