I can use HEIC on Arch (btw) just fine. As I recall there's some bullshit you need to download on the Microsoft store to get it to work. It's a pain in the ass.

But that would require me to use the Epic game store.

Don't use a computer, go outside.

I am using the open source amdgpu driver. It's the one that's built into the kernel. I have tried multiple different versions of Proton both official and unofficial. I think this game is cursed to never work without trippy menus.

That's what I'm currently using. It's great software, I just want official support from GOG.

Update: I removed those packages as they made everything worse and even broke several other games.

They speak Esperanto.

This is good but can we please get a native Linux client?

Apparently it's playable once you get into the game. That's if you're willing to blindly fumble through menus. I am not and I imagine most are not.

I tried that along with GE Proton to no avail sadly.

I installed the packages vulkan-radeon and lib32-vulkan-radeon just in case. Now I'm just getting a black screen with this game. I'll keep testing.

I have been experiencing minor graphical issues on several Steam games. I have only encountered issues through Steam. GOG games launched through Heroic and Lutris seem to work flawlessly. I am using Arch Linux and my GPU is an AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT. I'd be grateful for any help

I don't mean better for you or me but better in general. Do you believe our species will ever reach some form of enlightenment or will we destroy ourselves?

I greatly appreciate the time spent on the Esperanto translations of KDE apps. Though I am not anywhere near fluent yet it really helps my studying to be able to immerse myself in this obscure language. I hope to contribute to translations someday if I manage to achieve fluency. Thank you!

Can't we mourn the loss of a furry friend without bringing up immigration? I have lost so much faith in humanity. Nothing is pure and sacred anymore.

EA needed a scapegoat it seems

I'm very careful with privacy and security so I was surprised I got an obvious phishing email from "American Express". I reported the email and moved on only to get another one today. I checked haveibeenpwned and it came back clear. I have never gotten a phishing email before the other day. As for the senders, they all came from generic IT sounding email addresses. They obviously weren't American Express.

I'm having an issue and I don't know where else to post about it. I'd be grateful for any help or guidance.

My PC will randomly hard reset, usually when the PC is idle. This only seems to occur with DOCP enabled. I don't know much about PC hardware aside from how to build one. My PC runs Arch Linux (btw).
