So, if you own a coal plant and the government is spending time and money on regulating your livelihood, then that would be an obvious thing to cut from the budget.

Ok, so if you want to run your local LLM on your desktop, use your GPU. If you’re doing that on a laptop in a cafe, get a laptop with an NPU. If you don’t care about either, you don’t need to think about these AI PCs.

There are so many contradictions with his plans and reality, that it’s just wild. Then again, that’s how pre-election fluff talk works.

Trump is also planning to increase exports. However, many customers are aware of the climate impact their actions have, so buying from environmentally ethical sources isn’t just a fantasy any more. Companies and individual consumers are beginning to care about these things, which could have an impact on those ambitious export plans.

If you merely abandon your account, the change can be seen in the MAU statistics. If you delete it instead, you’ll make sure you won’t slip in the future. Either way, investors care about the active users, because the total number of accounts isn’t a very useful number to them.

Oh, that’s interesting. Lucky you, I guess. The algorithms have been tuned to be as engaging as possible, and that seems to be working for most people. Obviously, it’s impossible to make it work for literally everyone, and you seem to be one of the few who can escape the algorithm.

The lack of an algorithm is a solution. Social media tends to be too addictive to the point it can be harmful to humans, so Mastodon was intentionally designed to be less addictive.

And they are ok with living under the same roof with each other? If you can live like a queen, you probably are willing to make some compromises. Either that or Musk is one helluva negotiator. If it’s the latter, Musk should really try to talk to the leaders of Israel and Hamas.
