Yup, the desert wildflowers are certainly beginning their big bloom!

Paying for your favorite campsites at the five campgrounds managed by the Bureau of Land Management Bishop Field Office in the eastern Sierra is now as simple as scanning a QR code.

Of course Bishop made the list! :)

Yuhubi Nobi – which means “fuel house” in the Numu language – is a gas station and convenience store in Bishop, California opened by the Bishop Paiute Development Corporation, a tribally chartered corporation, that is providing jobs and income for this rural Tribal community.

The most powerful California blizzard of the season pounded the Sierra Nevada with gusts of up to 190 mph, while heavy snow Sunday forced the closure of key roads to the Lake Tahoe and Mammoth Mountain areas.

Comes a form-fitting hard shell case. I did buy one for my SC-13E, so it's the same design, but does NOT come with the built-in D'addario humidity sensor, as the SC-13E case did. No big deal, but thought I'd mention it, in case anyone was expecting that.

It's a fantastic guitar, and I'm fortunate to be able to own one. If you've been waiting for a made-in-USA version of the SC-13E, and didn't want to spring $8,000 for the Custom Shop SC 2022, then maybe this one is for you. They also have an SC-18E (all solid mahogany back and sides) for $500 less.

45-year-old Steven James Allen, also of Independence, was taken into custody around 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 27 by members of the Inyo County Sheriff’s and District Attorney’s offices. Authorities say Allen was arrested for and will face murder charges.

Bishop resident Brian Russell Stange, 52, was taken into custody for the murder of David Miller.

It's expected to dry up by April, so visit Lake Manly (it's what Badwater Basin, the lowest point in the United States, becomes when it fills with water) before it's gone!
