Oh it's very real. Microsoft is one of the absolute worst companies for amount of raw data they hoover up.

Don't believe it? Try logging into the Outlook Web client with uBlock or uMatrix turned on and look at the number of requests it stops.

I know what you meant, but it's still comical to imagine Russia degrading so far through their reserves, they literally start charging lines on horses.

Like a Civ game where you run out of everything but the cheapest units... but still need that speed.
