I believe that much like Lemmy, there's an "all" button that gives you everything from everywhere.

Same, though ML made me think "Machine Learning", and that it was a more tech-focused place. This was before I realised they they're all (broadly) the same, and assumed that they were groupings of similar topics like an old web-ring.
It's a known bug; you can work around it by navigating to page 2, then changing the 2 to a 0 in the url. Page 0 is basically page 1 but without the clearly-broken auto-update feature.

Trust me, there are many other EVs put there that are cheaper and have much higher build quality. You don't want to sign up to the Church of Elon.
