I’m used to this too.

I want to think it’s actually an anti-pattern; as we are seeing many Reddit people are deleting their accounts so searching Reddit might be less useful in the future.

Not sure what the alternative is though. Some of the communities I participate in went to Discord instead but that has search problems as well.

Especially as a gay guy, seeing massively upvoted posts of a woman holding basically anything (but she’s wearing a low-cut top!!!!!!) got pretty exhausting.

I made a post this morning that I didn't quite realize until afterwards was a "goodbye" post. I did get misty-eyed towards the end of writing it. :(
