Sorry, I've already imagined the backstory of Discovery Season 3-5. Those centuries are now off-limits.
That rather ignores the fact that Adira was an amnesiac stowaway at the time, with some pretty understandable trust issues.
It also ignores that the characters in the scene in exactly the way you're saying they should have.
It's all good. The TL;DR of Quark's is "stuff you want to share with other members of this community."
I disagree - you dislike TNG for completely different reasons.

I'm not sure what, exactly, you mean by this, but both of those people have had pretty acclaimed careers.
I find it hard to imagine looking at the Trek series since 2017 and making a convincing case that the franchise is being mishandled.
I mean, Alex Kurtzman hired the guy, and is EP if "Lower Decks" along with all the other shows...
Again, though, that completely removes the context of Adira's character arc.
