I'm gonna have to disagree with Maj'el - I don't think either the Bell Riots or Cochrane's warp flight are examples of causal time loops.

Thanks for the response.

We'll probably relax the rules on c/startrek a bit to allow a degree of Trek-adjacent content that we might have previously punted to Quark's.

I'm thinking of stuff like the Paramount acquisition drama, which is off-topic but clearly still relevant.

Expanding outward from there into stuff like "here's what Frakes is up to," we approach territory that can be covered just as well elsewhere in the Fediverse.

I'm legitimately curious: what is the appeal of this community to a remote user?

Of all the possible references to legacy characters they could have made, Edward Larkin was not on my Bingo card...

All in all, I think it's a pretty good setup for a season. Time travel nonsense is a pretty big swing for a kids' show, so I'm curious to see how it all plays out.

I think making Dal have a hard time adjusting to student life and not being at the centre of the action makes a lot of sense. As much as he clearly has room to grow, I wonder if there will ever be an opportunity for Starfleet to tailor their material to his personal learning style.

Brannon Braga, eat your heart out!

That makes more sense, since Osborne Village is some distance from the Via station.

I normally don't post rumours, but this seems like credible information from a credible outlet.

The woman had left a passenger train when she was hit by a freight train travelling in the opposite direction, police said.

I haven't seen the season yet, but the description here seems very in-line with what we saw in "Picard."

I'm not familiar with Venus Prime - it's apparently based on the short story Breaking Strain, which has been spun into a novel series by Paul Preuss.

A disturbing number of people seem to be unwilling or unable to curate their feed.

Never mind, I did some digging, and it looks like something has changed and/or is broken with the theme itself. I'll keep an eye out for a possible solution.
