I can see a lawsuit down the line targeting the big lemmy/mastodon instances. I don’t know how it will work but corporations will come up with some sort of discrimination claim if they are not allowed to be federated.

Defederation and independence is IMO the strength of the Fediverse. How will this work in this scenario? You are basically proposing a fault tolerant Reddit, if I understand it correctly. I apologize in advanced if I read it wrong.

IMO majority of iPhone users couldn’t care less about any Android phone performance. It’s all about year after year iPhone vs IPhone specs.

Can you please explain it to me like a five year old? The way I understand it is that the cancellation basically means that the federal govt will take on the debt - which amounts to spending. Spending is decided on by the Congress and not the Executive. Having said that, everything could in theory be all good until someone files a lawsuit against the action, which in this case someone did. Am I understanding it correctly?
