First, instances do save that list internally, but the API is still being worked along with the apps themselves, so don't expect all features to work quite yet. Secondly stop using alts to harass communities you don't like. If you do not wish to see certain content, block that user or community. Thanks! I thought I was just missing a confirm button somewhere, but it looks like the instance was just under heavy load earlier.

Some posts that are correctly tagged nsfw will lose that tag when federated across to other instances. The vast majority of nsfw posts do work though, which is making it hard for devs and admins to debug the issue.
