You can take non-identifying photos of POWs to show numbers of captures, including showing their badges and info. You just can't show their faces or make them say things pretty sure.

Like you said, nobody seems to give a fuck about this rule on either side though

For any who have never seen it somehow, check out the short documentary Loyal Citizens of Pyongyang in Seoul for more information on how most defectors are treated. They are often coerced, bribed or deceived. SK withholds passport privileges and doesn't recognize DRPK passport, so they cannot leave the country legally and are trapped without documentation or money or any support.

Some sell out and become informants, spies, anti-DPRK propagandists. Those that don't must be careful to speak their mind at any time because any statement that is pro-DPRK will get you prosecuted under the National Security Act and placed in prison. Good luck ever getting a job after that, and you've got nowhere to go. Intel services stalk you and harass you, and people report you to the police for statements like "I admire Kim Il Sung"

my lib father was quite taken off guard when I said that Zelensky is an autocrat, and asked him if this was the "western values" he believed they were fighting for. I mentioned how he had shut down all opposition parties, canceled elections & assassinated his political opponents in DPR/LPR.

All he could muster was a half-hearted defense of him that it was war time and elections would be held afterwards, but I brought up numerous examples of nations holding elections during war time (Such as Russia recently, Britain in WW2, USA in WW2, etc). He basically just gave up there and admitted he was a dictator.

got to do a hard cut off of the internet, it's fucking with your dopamine levels and shit.

get on a good sleep cycle, go to the doctor (if you have coverage) for depression & lock yourself hard into a hobby. It can be cooking, gardening, walking around outside for a few miles per day, just make sure it's out of your apartment.

That's what has helped me. Also reaching out to friends/family and joining in their hobbies and activities can be fun.

politely asked a guy filling his gas next to me stop smoking cigarettes while handling gasoline

he started screaming expletives and slurs at me, calling my car a f-slur-mobile and attacking Palestine (I had a pro-Palestine bumper sticker). Subaru and Palestine catching strays.

The boomers are not OK. They come back to their birthplace (leaded gasoline stations) and attempt to blow it up to complete their life cycle

it will be less of an invasion, and more of a willing occupation of "peacekeepers" who will remain there permanently to create a buffer between Russia and Poland
