Hey so I literally just got out of homelessness and my landlord is asking for an extra $50 on top of the first, last and security deposit. I don't have that 50 dollars and already had to take a payday loan to get this place so I'm quite stressed.

I also have to have a place to rest to recover for my prosthetic surgery that's coming up.

Can I just stay and pay her when I get paid from my new job? I've already given her first and last I don't know why she's asking for an additional 50 from me but I really need this place. If you've been homeless before then you know what I mean.

I made a post here earlier about my work attire so thank you all for the feedback.

I'm starting a new job soon but I still have yet to secure a place so I'm currently still homeless at the moment. I just need a little bit of food to hold me over for the month.

The staff at the food bank first asked if I was a student, then they asked me if I was employed and told me to show them the offer letter. One of them asked me how I lost the arm and I said I wasn't comfortable in saying why.

They then finally asked me where I live and I stupidly said that I was homeless. They then told me that they can't offer any assistance to me at this moment and urged me to leave.

I feel so humiliated and defeated. I thought food banks provided for everyone.
