She comes up a lot on my Threads feed even though I don't follow her and some of her takes are.. uh, iffy. I understand that some doctors actually want to help people, but there are far too many out there that seem like they're more interested in becoming some sort of famous guru. I wish more people took their advice with a grain of salt.

What is this post from? To be more fair and accurate in my bullshit detection, I went to IG to check some more numbers. She has one reel recently featured on the SI Swim page which has 2.5 mil views so far. The "cover girl", Alix Earle, has three reels totaling 14 million views. Birdie still got 40,000+ more new followers than Alix in the last 30 days. As the kids say, make it make sense!
