The headline makes it seem way more clear than the issue actually is. As for me, I took issue with the bill potentially preventing more green energy projects which we are severely lacking, aside from hydro. Though I am very unhappy with the argument that we need to not block economic development since I am all for regulations in that sector, just not sweeping ones.

Yeah! That's why I loved Sennheiser IEMs, they had oval cables that never tangle up, no matter what you do. Still have a pair for my Switch

So they were trying to patch systems that use GRUB for Windows-only installs? What a load of BS. Why would anybody install GRUB to boot only Windows with that? Or am I overlooking something?

Furthermore, if GRUB has a security issue, they should've contributed a patch at the source instead of patching it themselves somehow. I'm a bit stunned at the audacity of touching unmounted filesystems in an OS patch. Good thing Windows still doesn't include EXT4 and BTRFS drivers because they might start messing with unencrypted Linux system drives at this rate

I know nuclear isn't ideal but to rule it out completely while the alternative for stable baseline power is still coal and gas seems problematic to me

And in the meantime Mozilla keeps making worse decisions, too

Isn't it banks, that generate most of the currency, especially by lending out money that comes from account holders funds?

Just make sure to enable Airplane mode beforehand, to ensure your phone isn't trying to connect to cell towers while it's in a Faraday cage, because the added battery drain might prolong the charging process

Isn't it great? And it all lets you shoot yourself in the foot equally as bad, if you misunderstand the frameworks' design principles

At the risk of sounding stupid giving a serious answer to a joke question; I don't know the details but lemmy might not work, because the 3DS doesn't support the ciphers lemmy uses. Other sites might work, because they support older ciphers for backwards compatibility. A reason why lemmy might not want to support those is, that it could give attackers an opportunity to "hijack" your login because they can decrypt what you're sending to lemmy. If you just wanna browse lemmy anonymously tho, you should be able to do that, yes

Is Helldiver's anti cheat that bad too? am I at least a little better off running the game through Proton on Linux or am I just providing a compatibility layer to a rootkit?
