Orrrr... get this; some people don't think like you. Or give enough of a shit. Which is not a bad thing. Your elitist attitude on the other hand is shit.

Star Citizen is a scam plain and simple. It's "stolen" thousands of dollars (probably more) at this point and has nothing to show for it but a very pretty buggy mess.

Let it die. Things will die. Old members will get butthurt. New things will rise. This is the way of change. "Fragmented in 1000s of bubbles" is what the Fedverse is anyway from what I understand. Some of y'all are thinking to Reddit-y.

Or you can grow the fuck up. Here come the downvotes. The Reddit scum are taking over this place unfortunately.

Every interaction I've had with Beehaw so far has reminded me of overlord Reddit mods that think they are god.

It doesn't matter. They all feed into each other. Or don't. Depending on your personal preference.

Honestly I, like most casual users, don't care about the drama. I'll go with both but mainly use whatever is more active and user friendly. I think it's silly how much stake into this the bandwagon has put into it. If you're not a developer or a mod that has put a lot of time into it it doesn't really affect the rest of us.

I get what you're saying, but communities that spend time together will form their inside jokes, their way of doing things, etc. If you don't like it you don't have to participate. I say this with the upmost respect, but you need to get over yourself. Nobody is forcing you into a community.

Any influx like this is a clusterfuck. It's just the way it is. But this community already feels good. And it seems like those on the backend are doing everything they can. So patience it is, because this could be great.

You don't have to be condescending.

Taking some getting used to but it reminds me of very old school Reddit in a lot of ways. Feels good so far.
