Just voted for Labour. Need to get out the Tory MP who was sycophantic in her defence of Boris partying.
Steven Pacey reading Joe Abercrombie's First Law series is outstanding. The books themselves are among my favourites, but Steven makes them even more special. He has different voices (and accents) for the characters and manages to stay consistent with them. His pacing is also excellent.

This is what I read and it was a shock to me that companies not only improved the quality of the cloth when they realised people made garments from sacks, but also strove to provide fashionable designs and wash-off labels. There are some really gorgeous prints on here.
Nowadays, it feels like they would make the original packaging more coarse, then sell the product with nicer packaging at a premium, whilst making sure their logo was indelible.

Childbirth, but my son's birth, not mine. Lost a lot of blood and had to have meds to slow it, surgery to stop it, and a transfusion to replace it.
I don't think anything would have got me before then, but I'm vaccinated, so who knows?

When I worked in retail, I had this wanker of a middle manager who would ask how I was getting on, and when I said fine, he'd always say "It's not rocket science, is it?"
He was mid twenties and only a few years older than me. He used to call female employees "babe".
One time I watched him get a withering telling off from a customer. The customer wasn't in the right, but it felt like a little bit of retribution for all us "babes".
