I love when things are in ram. Can have whole vm disks. I also like creating new VMs in ram disks like /dev/shm it makes less wear on my ssd.

Kde because i want customization and standard is also ok. I tried gnome but did not like that extensions were required for tray icons etc. Gnome is otherwise good.

I3 and hyperland i dont get. Some windows should not be very large no matter how much free screen space you have. Example is calculator or old school chat applications like pidgin. No native standard set of applications. Everything must manually be added and custom, like everything in kde settings(sound output, network settings, screen size etc). Waiting for when applications can recommend its screen size to the window manager.

Fake does not change what actually happened. Just look for facts in the real world that support the theory. Remember, photoshop existed before AI. We have DNA checks today.

Sure, there may be others that are willing to set up and follow in his footsteps. But remember - the people is afraid of one specific person - Putin. People do not fully dare to go against him. Any new leader will not have the same kind of respect. So that means people may have higher chance in succeeding to stop the war.

They only need to get rid of one little coward hiding in his bunker - Putin. It would be a whole different story if he was on the front actually fighting because so many Russians die there.

Paywalls for news. It makes it easy for me to know that this is not an important news article and can skip reading it. Time saving.

I am wondering if it is that good to have single instance for feddiverse. It hurt feddiverse servers to send to yet another location, or is it more like p2p so it scales well?

That was a good one

I just installed apt cacher ng for catching my apt upgrade packages and saw a huge time improvement even though I have a good internet connection. It act as a proxy and caches the response packages.

Do you run something similar? Or maybe even run a local repo mirror? Warning, they are really big so I don't think it is recommended unless you really need almost everything.
