how do I upload a picture of my garden here? it always fails (lemm.ee)
 

I see all these beautiful pictures of plants and gardens and wanted to upload a picture of mine too, but it always fails. I tried smaller pictures too. What am I missing? Is there something that just aromatically displays a link and doesn't show that it's a link or something? Sorry for the basic question, I'm new to lemmy and just wanted to contribute.

Tried a 900 byte image and that still failed. I tried downloading an image that was hosted on lemmy and not a link and uploading that, and that also failed.

I tried different sizes. And I have seen high res pics posted on lemmy. I guess I will try something super low res

I can't seem to upload any pictures to any lemmy instance or kbin instance. I have tried using chrome, opera, jerboa, kbin.social app and wefwef. They all give me an error. I have tried different pictures too. What am I missing?

There is currently a huge wave of automated spambot sign-ups on other Lemmy instances. This post explains how lemm.ee will respond. in c/meta@lemm.ee
