fyi, long-pressing the period key on Gboard gives you some more symbols to choose from, including /.

also includes some symbols that are already behind other keys which is kinda weird.

At that point isn't it just as quick to search through your history?

  • download Firefox
  • install Ublock Origin

Neither of those will help with notifications. Firefox also supports web push, as they should since it is in the spec.

Yup same here. So instead I just set my tabs to automatically close after 1 day. Not perfect, but better than nothing.

I mean it's mostly an unusual sight in parts of Europe because they don't need AC's, they need heating instead.

Most parts of Europe (that I've been to) where it gets hot have AC.

~~As a user~~ As a developer, if I want a page to open in a new tab, I press the middle mouse button.

Ftfy

Most regular users I've seen use the internet don't even know middle-click or ctrl+click opens in a new tab, or any other useful shortcuts for that matter.

Pretty sure a cookie like that would fall under strictly necessary, so you're still allowed to save it without consent.

By default whatsapp makes unencrypted backups. You can enable encrypted backups, but then of course if you lose the password you can't restore the backup.

Isn't this already how the search works? I get results for all the instances my instance federates with.

Was that a big thing on Reddit? I don't feel like I've seen those kinds of posts at least.

Guess I somehow managed to avoid them despite all the gaming-related subreddits I followed.
