I feel exactly the same as you. They've built up enough trust and goodwill throughout the years that I am willing to let this misstep slide.

The lack of linux support is a pain, but I kinda see their argument for prioritizing windows and mac right now...

I found this to be the best solution for my use case! Thank you!

The app is closed source and apparently full of trackers, which is a deal breaker for me.

Edit: But thank you for the suggestion!

Thank you! Been sober for a month and my body already feels so much healthier!

Hehe, I also considered to start an open source project prior to asking the question. :p

However, I found that Sobriety is working fine for my use case. Will definitely try to contribute to that project in the future!

I have recently stopped drinking alcohol and I am looking for an app to keep track of my progress. Does anyone have any suggestions?

If possible, a widget with days since last drink would be nice!

Edit: Thank you so much for all the suggestions! I found Sobriety to work best for my particular use case.

7 years here. Glad I left reddit for lemmy. I will never sign up for a centralized social media platform again, I've learned my lesson.

Fuck u/spez.
